I am part of a group exhibit at Abend Gallery titled Denver: Under Construction.  Around Denver, there is tons of construction: residential (single family and high density), corporate, retail, manufacturing… You name it, they’re building and rebuilding it.  It’s everywhere!

It was interesting to look for the aesthetically pleasing aspects of construction.  To take a category I normally see as “yea, yeah; so what” and notice  the interesting compositions and viewpoints.  To take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.  <–(it’s in my Artist Statement!)

This is the first of a few new ones I’ll be posting.  Show opened last night at Abend Gallery and will be up through November 30th.

Stunning composition. The brilliance of colors and the linear qualities of the equipment blend wonderfully.

    Thank you so much!
