Quiet Refuge over Bear Creek (Morrison)
12″ x 9″
oil on panel
Back behind the houses that back up to Bear Creek in Morrison, CO, someone chose a secluded place to leave a chair and plant flowers. Almost as if they’re building their own little place to take refuge with Mother Nature.
I painted a number of plain air pieces lately preparing the 2013 Colorado Plein Air Festival currently exhibiting at the Denver Public Library through December 31st. I’ll post the rest of them here on the blog. In association with the exhibit, there’s even more plein air works online and available for purchase here. So much to paint in Colorado!
