“Galeta Beach Rock Stars”

Visiting Santa Barbara earlier this year put me on the beach with these glorious larger-than-life palm trees.  Folks look up to these tall lanky celebrities guarding the beach, almost as if they have rock-star status. (spoken as someone who has only lived in the midwest and mountain regions, of course)

Check out this painting and more by other artists at Framed Images’s A Change of Scene exhibit.  Here you’ll see all that Colorado artists have seen when going someplace else besides our home state.

Stop by Framed Image and travel about with Colorado artists, showing through September 14th!

I love the way the read almost makes them shimmer!

Thanks Kim! It’s like the stage lights for these rock stars. :)
