Children’s Hospital of Colorado paintings on the walls

I recently had the chance to visit Children’s Hospital Colorado to see all the amazing works of art hung there all fabulously curated by Heidi Huisjen, Arts Coordinator/Ponzio Creative Arts Therapy Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

My works are hanging on the 3rd and 6th floors.  Because of the security necessary in hospital visits, I had Heidi escort me with badge and ID in hand.

You’ve seen the works on this blog before (here, here, here, and here), but I loved seeing them in actual use so to speak, with patients and medical staff carrying on their normal everyday doings.

I am so delighted these pieces have found a home at a hospital for kids, I just can’t even put it into words.

The joy is seeing my works doing their thing, incorporated in everyday lives.  Art lives on!

They look gorgeous on the walls of the Children”s Hospital! Not only the subjects but the colors of you work complement their walls. There is a Doc looking down on you and feeling SO proud! ;-)
