On Friday, August 24, The 11th Annual Art for Life benefit auction took place at Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado.

Over 100 local, regional, and national artists donate works to be sold in a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting Project Angel Heart.

Project Angel Heart is a fabulous non-profit creating and delivering nearly 900 healthy nutritious meals each week to people living with cancers across the Colorado Front Range area.

At this year’s event, I had the pleasure of painting live works from models, then offering those up for silent auction as well.  I was thrilled to be able to paint alongside such wonderful artists: Daniel Sprick, Ron Hicks, Raj Chaudhuri, Jim Beckner, Ken Velastro and Clyde Steadman.

I was able to raise over $500 for this wonderful organization, and together we raised over $50,000.  Can’t wait until next year!
