“Love is a passport to the impossible, so do not be disturbed if the seas are sometimes rough.” — Lois Wyse

Was at a Cherry Festival recently and just couldn’t resist painting some of these little guys.

Whew!  This one went smoother than all the ones I wiped away earlier.  You see, I’m trying to make painting look easy.  Be bolder in each stroke and not so nit-picky and unsure.  How come it’s so hard to make something look easy?

PS: Thought I’d change up the images in the header of this blog to include more recent works.  It’s about time!  Gotta do that a little more regularly.

Bing! You nailed this one. :-)

  2. canvas wall art says:

The elements, especially the figures, are more solidly and conventionally defined, and composition is more conservative.

Kimberly no wonder you’re a writer; you’re quite the wordsmith. Just might have to steal that play on words for my next cherry piece. thanks!
