Please join us for another fun, pet friendly Yappy Hour fundraising event at City Bark Lodo.  People and dogs (well behaved please) are welcome with their owners.  Beer and light appetizers will be provided along with some amazing art work.

This year’s beneficiary is Colorado’s Helping Hands Foundation, a non-profit that allocates funds for pets that are in need of non-routine medical procedures.  They work both with individuals and local rescue groups to give animals the quality of life they deserve. For more information on this great organization visit their website here.

Dogmata Denver is a group of local artists (Mario Acevedo, Eric Matelski, Tracy Wall, David Menard, Tad Moskal, Russ Wright and Jennifer Mosquera) that gets together once a year to put on a pet themed art show with a portion of the proceeds going to a local animal group. There will be an original piece of collaborative art created for this event with each artist’s own unique style called “The Poker Pack”.  It will be available for bidding at the silent auction with ALL proceeds going to Helping Hands.  Additionally, each artist will also have individual pieces available for purchase of which 10% of all sales will go directly to Colorado’s Helping Hands Foundation.

And since its close to Halloween, of course there will be a costume contest with prizes, so get together with your furry pal and get creative. The doggie pool will be open so be prepared with a towel for your pup as well as being prepared with clothes that can handle this kind of fun.

This year’s big Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour Event will also include the delicious beer of the Wynkoop brewery, Yazoo BBQ as well as yummy sides from Fuel Cafe.

With dog or without, this is the place to be!!  Where else can you help dogs in need, meet other dog lovers, grab a beer, purchase some unique art, and dress your dog up like a fool?

Please join us!!
