Uh oh. Someone left the gate open. Guess that means I have to escape for a bit…
I’m headed out of town. Been a while since I went on a travel adventure, so off I go… headed southwest. I’ll be in touch! ;)

Love doing these “Night Lights” series. This was from an early morning wet, snowy drive. I like how the reflections are almost abstracted, for me, a little adventurous. Yet I’m not real keen on the title. Open to suggestions. Let me know!
(can’t guarantee I’ll use it, but listening….)
Thanks!

“A kiss, when all is said, what is it?
A rosy dot placed on the ‘I’ in loving;
Tis a secret told to the mouth instead of to the ear.”
–Edmond Rostand, poet/playwright of Cyrano de Bergerac
Another in the kiss series…
Did most of this one at Abend Gallery last Saturday. Stop by next week and visit as I’ll be painting there again!

Always wanted to do a few paintings with Hershey Kisses, so here’s the first. And with Valentine’s day just around the corner….
Stop by Framed Image for the next few weeks and see this and other works in their new exhibit, RED.

Winter has been on-and-off: we’ll get a little snow and cold, then it’ll melt. However, tonight a major snow storm is predicted to roll in; a back-door low over the Oklahoma panhandle means nearly a foot is possible here in Denver.
Guess Punxsutawney Phil wasn’t kidding. Bundle up!
