It’s that time of year again: time for the 3rd annual Art on the River exhibit at the Art Students League of Denver. This exhibit is generously funded by the Greenway Foundation, who has led the effort to enhance and preserve the South Platte River and it’s tributaries throughout the Denver metro area since 1974.
Goes like this: artists had a two week window in September to create works inspired by a specific section of the South Platte. This year, the section that was explored is Grant Frontier Park, just south of Evans Avenue paralleling Santa Fe Drive.
Opening reception is Friday, November 6th 5:30 – 8:00 pm, and runs through December 18th. Check my “Now Showing…” page for more specific information.

Hi Tracy,
Haven’t been by in awhile. I remember when you did this event last year! This painting is so nice. I love the light on the dog/walker. Calming landscape. Nice!
