Happy holiday!!!

I’m up near the Frozen Tundra (Wisconsin) to celebrate the holiday with family. I have no new complete painting to put here (Ack! There’ll be coal in my stocking!), so instead I’ll paint with words……..
T’was the night before Christmas and all through this blog,
Not a painting was stirring, only a monologue.
No thick splotch of paint with a brush will she slog;
Instead with a rhyme she’ll attempt to log
Holiday wishes from her and her dog.
Of course if you’ve been to your synagogue,
Perhaps in her throat there’d be a frog.
For Tracy had traveled through snow and thick fog
To a place that’s nearly as cold as Prague.
To make it through this verse you’ll need some grog,
Or maybe a cup of warm eggnog.
Feel free to add more to this dialogue;
I’m sure your words will be better; I doubt they’ll clog.
What more can she say for a final epilogue,
You’ve got things to do and your time she won’t hog.
The jingle bell sounds in her memory jog
Seasons Greetings and be safe in your travelogue!
I’ll be back in a few days. In the meantime, here’s wishing you a warm wonderful time with family, friends, and good cheer!
Best wishes to all and to all a good night!
